Slavia signed two young talents

PRAGUE – Slavia welcomed two young reinforcements. Antonín Barák and Zdeněk Linhart, the U21 national team teammates, signed a contract for 3,5 years.
Antonín Barák (3. 12. 1994) completes his transfer from Příbram, where he started his professional football career. The left-footed midfielder debuted in Synot Liga in June 2013 against Liberec. Gaining experience in second league club Graffin Vlašim, Barák returned to Příbram at the beginning of this season. “I am excited that I am here and I am looking forward to playing for Slavia. It is a great club which aims high and I consider it very tempting. I want to move forward with my career,” explains Barák his decision to join Slavia.
Zdeněk Linhart (5. 4. 1994) is one of the top South-Bohemian talents who represented the Czech Republic in youth categories and has debuted for the national U21 in 2015. The twenty-one-year-old striker transfers from České Budějovice, where he also tasted the first league in the previous season. His most successful season was 2013/14 when he scored 9 goals.
“I know it sounds like a cliché but it really is a dream come true and a great honour. Slavia is a great club with magnificent fans, wonderful history and I firmly believe that it is a club with a bright future,” says Zdeněk Linhart.
