Souček’s loan at West Ham extended until the end of the season

Because of the extension of Premier League amid the COVID-19 outbreak Slavia agreed with West Ham that Tomáš Souček will extend his loan spell at West Ham.

Souček joined West Ham on loan in January 2020. He has made 4 spells in Premier League since leaving for London. His loan was due to expire on 30 June 2020. The English Premier League should restart on 17 June and finish on 26 July.

The loan of 25-year old midfielder will continue as permanent transfer in case West Ham will not be relegated at the end of the season. The Hammers are currently 16th with 27 points - the same number as 17th Watford and 18th Bournemouth.
