TOTAL SEASON becomes Czech Documentary of the Year

Documentary TOTAL SEASON mapping Slavia extraordinary 2018/19 season became Documentary of the Year in Czech Television Awards.
TOTAL SEASON (in Czech TOTÁLN! SEZONA) triumphed in category Documentary among readers of iDNES.cz news portal which organises the awards annually. Eight episodes following Slavia first team on their way to seize the Czech double after 77 years and reach the UEFA Europa League quarter-final were produced by Slavia TV crew and aired between July and September 2019. All episodes have now more than 1.3 million views on YouTube altogether.

Comedy series
Most! by Czech TV triumphed among Czech series, Chernobyl by HBO finished first among foreign series ahead of The Witcher. The Sleepers (Bez Vědomí) by Czech HBO won among Czech films and mini-series.

In the second round of the Champions League group stage, Slavia Prague were defeated 0–3 away to Inter Milan at the San Siro. Jindřich Staněk was beaten twice by Lautaro Martínez, a veteran of the sides’ memorable 1–1 draw six years ago, while Denzel Dumfries added a third for the hosts.
