Villarreal game will celebrate our 125th anniversary

PRAGUE – Come to support Slavia in the Europa League against Villarreal and enjoy our 125th birthday celebration! Tickets in general sale are still available online and in the stadium box office.
The UEFA Europa League game with Villarreal CF takes part on Thursday, November 2. The 125th anniversary of foundation of the A.C.O.S. (Slavia predecessor) falls upon the same date.

Tickets for the UEL vs. Villarreal CF are still available in general sale. The cheapest tickets for the Southern Stand start at 490 CZK. There is about 1.500 tickets remaining (as for Monday, October 30), they are available online via Ticketportal.cz and in the box office at the entrance no. 4.

Walk of Fame


New plaques will be revealed on Slavia Walk of Fame in front of the Eden Arena main entrance. The names still remain secret but they will bear the names of biggest legends of our club. The ceremony in the presence of former Slavia players and the club management will start at 5:45 pm.

New name for the stand and more


The main stand of the Eden Arena bears the name of J. W. Madden from August 2017. One of the remaining stands will be renamed in honour of another Slavia legend. The ceremony starts on the stadium at 6:20 pm. Launch of the new book “Eternal Slavia” will follow.

At 6:30 pm a special birthday wish be presented on the pitch in the presence of a well-known Czech musician.

Bulletin “125 years of Slavia” (in Czech) with many interesting texts about our history, tens of unique historical photos from our archives and list of all Slavia legends (players, managers) will be available on the entrances for free. A special red-white mosaic made by Slavia fans will celebrate the anniversary on the stands.

Slavia defeated Bohemians in front of 18,992 spectators at Fortuna Arena and continue to lead the Chance Liga table. The Vršovice derby was decided in the first half, with goals from Tomáš Chorý and Štěpán Chaloupek (the latter deflected in by Okeke). In the second half, Lukáš Provod scored a stunning strike, while Zeman pulled one back for the visitors.

Slavia won 5–3 at Štruncovy Sady in the 15th round of the Chance Liga. Tomáš Chorý scored twice, Youssoupha Sanyang netted his first league goal, and Štěpán Chaloupek and Christos Zafeiris were also on target. The Red-Whites lead the domestic competition by two points heading into the international break.

Penalty, Early Second-Half Goal, and Defeat to Arsenal

Slavia fell 0–3 to Arsenal at Eden Arena in the 4th round of the Champions League league phase. The Premier League leaders took the lead through Saka’s converted penalty, Merino doubled the advantage in the first minute of the second half, and the same player later sealed the final score. A penalty initially awarded to Slavia was overturned by the referee after consulting VAR.
