Welcome to Slavia, Danny

PRAGUE - Portuguese star Danny signed a 2-year deal in Slavia! 33-year old midfielder and former Portuguese international has played in Zenit St. Petersburg for previous 8 years.
“I am really glad that Danny has become part of our club. Together with Halil Altintop and Ruslan Rotaň they are true stars, but always very modest,” Slavia chairman Jaroslav Tvrdík said.

The manager Jaroslav Šilhavý added: “Danny has great individual skills, he is playing attacking midfield, always eager to score, always putting pressure on the penalty area. He is also very strong in the centre of the pitch. Outstanding dribble, really quick on ball. All of this are his strengths.”
