Winter training schedule

PRAGUE – The winter break will be over in less than two weeks and the schedule of winter training contains two camps – one in China the other in Spain, as well as friendly matches.
Slavia should face teams from Chinese superliga during the first training camp. The schedule for Marbella camp should be known in January.

Slavia made light work of their MOL Cup Round of 16 clash away at Zlín, securing a dominant 4–0 victory. The Reds decided the game already in the first half, when Mojmír Chytil opened the scoring. After the break, Lukáš Provod and youngster Tomáš Jelínek — who netted his first-ever senior goal — added insurance strikes, before Michal Sadílek sealed the win late on.

A valuable draw! Debutant Markovič shines against Atalanta

In the third round of the Champions League group stage, Slavia Prague held Atalanta to a 0–0 draw in Bergamo. The hero of the match was Jakub Markovič, who made at least four phenomenal saves on his Champions League debut. The “Red-and-Whites” picked up their second point in the group standings.

In the second round of the Champions League group stage, Slavia Prague were defeated 0–3 away to Inter Milan at the San Siro. Jindřich Staněk was beaten twice by Lautaro Martínez, a veteran of the sides’ memorable 1–1 draw six years ago, while Denzel Dumfries added a third for the hosts.
