eToro is the new general partner

Slavia signed a multi-year general partnership with the headquarters of the global company eToro.

Just before the 2021/2022 season, Slavia has reached a significant milestone in Czech club football - the club signed a multi-year general partnership with the headquarters of the global company eToro. It thus joined the clubs of the elite English, German and French leagues.

Slavia will enter the new season with a new partner on the chest – the position of general partner will be taken over by the world´s leading social trading network eToro. The logo of the current general partner and owner of the club, a major Chinese corporation CITIC Group, remains on the shirt, but is moved from the chest to the sleeve, which is the second most important position on the shirt, and where - according to the new rules UEFA - it can remain for European competitions.

Tomáš Syrovátka, the first vice-president of Slavia Prague said: “We are pleased to be joining forces with the world’s leading social investment network and we welcome eToro to the Slavia family as a new general partner of the club. We look forward to working with them and we hope that our partnership will bring us joy and success on and off the pitch.”

Nir Smulewicz, VP Marketing of eToro commented: “We’re delighted to be joining Slavia Praha and look forward to starting this multi-year partnership with the reigning champions. The Czech Republic is an important market for eToro and through this partnership we hope to raise awareness to more people of the potential to grow their wealth through investing. We would like to show the fans that investing doesn’t have to be something only a select few can do, it can be as easily accessible as football matches, and for some maybe as interesting.”

Founded in 2007, the global company eToro offers a state-of-the-art intuitive trading platform that allows anyone and anywhere to trade financial assets online. It provides a wide selection of instruments for investing in capital markets with the possibility of creating a portfolio with cryptocurrencies, stocks, commodities, and other products. The platform allows its users not only to choose what they invest in, but also how. They can trade on their own, copy another investor or invest in a portfolio.
