Coming from behind to seize three points in Olomouc
Only 5 minutes later Olomouc doubled their lead when Tomáš Holeš slipped chasing a long ball from Sigma own half, Pavel Zifčák could go alone on Kolář and our goalkeeper guessed the other side.
With two goals down Slavia started to recover from the early setback and managed to score in the 21st minute. After a combination on the left wing Jurásek sent a low cross into the box and Václav Jurečka thumped in his first goal.
Fifteen minutes later Oscar sent a beautiful through pass to Václav Jurečka and our forward chipped the ball over Macík again to make it 2-2.
The second half started with big Sigma chance when Chytil set up Zmrzlý behind Slavia defence, but Sigma defender fired only to Kolář’s gloves.
From that moment Slavia started to dominate the game and in the 67th minute the Red-Whites came from behind when Ondřej Lingr headed the ball into the net after a cross by Oscar.
Sigma got into their biggest chance in the 86th minute when Vodháněl got the ball behind Slavia defence, but Kolář made a superb save against his effort from sharp angle.
Olomouc went down to ten men after 78 minutes when Ventura got two yellow card shortly after each other, and Slavia managed to keep the home side at bay for the rest of the game.
The Red-Whites thus won 3-2 away at Olomouc, but despite three points they will finish second in the league table with Sparta three-point difference after a goalless draw at Slovácko.
