Slavia kicked off a series of three preparatory matches during their training camp in Algarve with a 4-0 victory over Sønderjyske. Muhamed Tijani and Mick van Buren found the net in the first half. At halftime, the entire eleven was substituted, and Lukáš Provod and Conrad Wallem added two more goals. The match saw the debut of Diouf, Zmrzlý, Sirotník, and the freshly eighteen-year-old Lacko.
