Slavia - Č. Budějovice
BENEŠOV - Second pre-season friendly did not go well for Slavia. With new faces in the starting lineup the sewn-ones did not score and the game with Dynamo České Budějovice ended in a goalless draw.
The starting lineup included players returning from their international dutied (Milan Škoda and Per Egil Flo) as well as fresh reinforcement – former Dnipro captain Ruslan Rotaň.

Slavia fans could see goalkeeper Jan Laštůvka in action for the very first time. Experienced goalie is coming from MFK Karviná to replace Jiří Pavlenka leaving for Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.

Slavia also finalised transfer of 19-year old midfielder Daniel Trubač from Hradec Králové who started the game as centre midfielder.

Slavia set the pace mainly in the second half but van Buren at minute 60 and Musa at minute 75 only managed to hit the woodwork with their shots from distance.

On the other half of the pitch the biggest chance belonged to Čavoš but Přemysl Kovář – who replaced Laštůvka for the second half – denied him with a great save.

Next friendly is played in Chomutov, Slavia host the Slovak champions MŠK Žilina on Saturday, July 1, at 11 am.
