Teplice - Slavia
Goals: 3. Vachoušek - 74. Tecl (pen.)
Slavia drew 1-1 away at Teplice despite two penalties in the second half. Stanislav Tecl was on the scoresheet for the Red-Whites.
The Red-Whites made several changes into the starting line-up. Provod, Schranz, Ewerton and van Buren returned to the starting 11, David Pech appeared from the opening minutes for the very first time in Slavia.

But Teplice caught Slavia napping early in the opening half. With only 3 minutes on the clock after a misplaced pass in Slavia build-up Hyčka deflected a through ball to Tadeáš Vachoušek and the young forward fired it through Kolář.

In the 12th minute Slavia created first chance to equalize. After a cross from the right wing, Santos headed the ball to Traoré on the far post and our midfielder’s effort was deflected to hit the right post.

However, it was the only bigger chance created by Slavia in the first half. The slow start forced Jindřich Trpišovský to make his first move as soon as in the 36th minute when Hronek and Zafeiris replaced Pech and Ewerton, but not even these changes helped the Red-Whites to put the home side under pressure.

Two more changes into Slavia line-up were made on the beginning of the second half when Tecl and Matěj Jurásek came on the pitch and the first one named was close to the to the first chance after Zafeiris’ through pass in the 50th minute, but Grigar rushed out of his goal to deny our striker.

A minute later Tecl headed wide after a sharp cross from the set piece on the left side.On the other side Vachoušek’s low cross was blocked by Ogbu and the ball luckily hit Kolář’s legs on his way to the goal.

After 60 minutes first penalty for Slavia came after Urbanec hit Olayinka’s ankles on the edge of the box, but Mick van Buren was denied by Grigar with his decent shot to the left side.

But 13 minutes later the situation repeated when Grigar brought down Hronek inside of the box after Zafeiri’s fast through pass, and Stanislav Tecl equalized with a cool finish from the spot.

The goal started Slavia pressure and only a minute later van Buren headed from a dangerous position, but only to Grigar’s gloves. In the 77th minute Petr Hronek appeared in an even bigger chance when he went past several players inside of the box, but his lobbed effort was then blocked by Teplice goalkeeper.

None of the teams managed to create bigger chances towards the end of the game and Teplice thus interrupted Slavia run of 8 league wins in a row. The game at Stínadla ended 1-1.
