SK Slavia Praha - AS Řím
Goals: 50. Jurečka, 74. Masopust
Slavia secured a victory on their home turf in the Europa League return match against AS Roma, clinching a two-goal difference. Before the eyes of 19,265 enthusiastic spectators, Václav Jurečka and Lukáš Masopust found the net in the second half. The "Striped" now find themselves at the provisional top of Group G.
In contrast to the Sunday duel with Plzeň, the coaching team made five changes to the starting lineup. Tomáš Holeš and Lukáš Masopust joined Igoh Ogbu in the central defensive trio, while David Douděra and captain Jan Bořil operated on the wings. The attacking trio featured Václav Jurečka, Lukáš Provod, and Mojmír Chytil from the opening whistle.

Slavia kicked off the game actively, earning a corner in the second minute. Christos Zafeiris got a shot from a set piece, but his attempt from outside the box missed the Roma goal. On the other end, Lukaku threatened after long crosses from Roma own half, but Igoh Ogbu was ready for the Belgian forward.

In the 27th minute, following a combination by Provod and Zafeiris, Mojmír Chytil attempted a turn and shot, but the powerful strike was sent high over Svilar's crossbar. Six minutes later, Lukáš Provod took a direct free-kick, but the Italian team's goalkeeper didn't need to intervene.

Towards the end of the first half, after a beautiful action, Douděra slipped into the opponent's penalty area, but his sharp pass into the goal area was blocked. The first half ended and the teams headed to the locker rooms with a scoreless draw.

Slavia entered the second half unchanged, and the game's dynamics remained the same. In the 50th minute, Lukáš Masopust took a shot, and Roma's goalkeeper parried the header to the feet of Mojmír Chytil. The Czech striker returned the ball to Václav Jurečka, who, despite the defender's pressure, scored the first goal of the match – 1:0!

Six minutes past the hour mark, the scorer of the first goal set up Lukáš Provod with a pass between defenders. Svilar saved the ground-level attempt with a strong fingertip effort. On the other end, substitute Dybala took a shot, but the ball bounced and only grazed the top netting.

In the 74th minute, after a throw-in, Oscar gained possession in the midfield and left Lukáš Masopust alone. The long-range shot from the second touch precisely hit the left bottom corner of Roma's goal – 2:0!

Twelve minutes before the end of regular time, Slavia's coaching team made the first substitution. Christos Zafeiris and Lukáš Masopust were replaced by Tomáš Vlček and Petr Ševčík, marking Ševčík's first minutes since the match in Geneva.

The bench made another change in the 88th minute, with the goal scorer Václav Jurečka and Oscar Dorley making way for Conrad Wallem and Mick van Buren.

In injury time, Slavia made their final substitution, replacing Mojmír Chytil with Jakub Hromada. A few moments later, Mick van Buren eluded the defense, but his technical lob narrowly missed the goal.

The match offered no further action, Slavia emerged victorious over AS Roma with a scoreline of 2-0 and moved to the top of Group G. The next challenge for Jindřich Trpišovský's team awaits on Sunday, November 12, as they travel to Olomouc for the 15th round of the FORTUNA:LIGA to face Sigma, with the kickoff scheduled for 18:00.
