Slavia - Teplice
PRAGUE/EDEN ARENA - Captain Milan Škoda recovered from illness right in time to face FK Teplice in 26th round of SYNOT liga. Slavia actually took lead twice by his goals but Teplice managed to equalise both times. It was third draw in a row for Slavia.
Milan Škoda appeared back in the starting line-up together with defender Tomáš Jablonský. Third change in compare to the last game against Sigma was second striker Lukáš Železník who replaced Georgian midfielder Levan Kenia this time.

Teplice cracked the whip as a first but Pavlenka made a fine save against Vachoušek’s shot. On the other side Souček’s similar effort was saved by Grigar.

But it was mainly Škoda who set the pace in the opening half. Sixteen minutes into the game the 30-years-old striker capitalised on Mihalík’s cross and headed the ball into the net for the first time.

Teplice drew level in 31st minute. After a quick combination Krob received the ball on the left side of penalty area, his low cross found Davor Kukec on the far post and the Croatian midfielder smashed the ball into the net. 1-1.

But it was Škoda again who secured the lead for Slavia. In 51st minute Zmrhal returned the ball into the penalty area after a corner kick and Škoda sent it precisely towards the right post again.

Shortly after that Škoda could have bagged a hat-trick but his low-range effort missed the post just by a few inches.

However, Teplice managed to claw themselves back into the contest for three points three minutes before the full time. Bílek could not clear the ball on the right side, Martin Fillo seized it and his cross found Ivo Táborský inside the penalty area. It was nothing but a piece of cake for the striker to level the score.

Nevertheless, the last word could have belonged to Slavia. In the third extra-minute Ljevakovič pulled down Bílek inside the penalty area and the reason was a penalty for the hosts. Hušbauer could score his very first goal for Slavia and tried his luck with a shot to his right hand but Grigar managed to punch the ball away.

It was a third draw in a row for Slavia who are now nine points behind fourth place with four games remaining. If Zbrojovka win their game against Příbram, the narrow margin ahead of the sixth place will consist only of two points.
