Czech title, Victory in MOL Cup, Europa League quarter-final and qualification for the Champions League Group Stage after 12 years. Those are the milestones Slavia reached under Jindřich Trpišovský in 2019 and our boss was now awarded the Czech Manager of the Year award.
Slavia manager finished first almost 200 points ahead of Jaroslav Šilhavý. Former Slavia manager who won the Czech title for red and whites in 2017 managed to qualify for EURO 2020 with Czech national team.
“I appreciate this award mostly because the votes come from broad spectre of people from all branches of football. It a reward for everybody in our coaching staff. I am glad we could earn the award for Slavia this year and I must thank all people who voted for us,” said Trpišovský after the virtual ceremony as the usual one was abolished due to current quarantine in the Czech Republic.
