Slavia and Sparta teams will play FIFA 20 in Charity Derby

On 10 May Slavia team will face Sparta in virtual charity Derby. All proceeds from ticket sale will go to nurses in Czech hospitals.

Last week ticket sale for both fans of Slavia and Sparta started. Both fan bases could start competing who is going to fill more seats on their virtual stands, together all will try to break the all-time Czech attendance record of 50,105 spectators during 163rd Derby in 1965. Now it is time to announce that the Derby will not be just virtual.

On 10 May Slavia and Sparta will play not one, but several games which can be played even during quarantine. Both teams will compete in FIFA 20! Each team will consist of 8 members - professional esports players, first-team players, former players and famous fans. 8 games - 8 points, the team with more points wins, with 4-4 there will be a draw. First player to represent Slavia is first-team midfielder Lukáš Provod. Other players will be revealed soon.

The virtual Derby will be broadcasted by Czech TV Sport. It will be the very first live esports broadcast in the history of Czech national TV.

Tickets can be purchased online via Ticketportal, basic ticket for CZK 100 (4 EUR), ticket with gift from the club for CZK 300 (12 EUR). Slavia fans should select Slavia sector before the purchase. All proceeds will go to nurses in Czech hospitals.

Slavia defeated Banik Ostrava 3-0 in the final match of the season at Fortuna Arena. The champions´ goals were scored in front of 19,322 spectators by Tomas Holy, Vasil Kusej, and David Doudera. Milan Skoda played in Eden after 5.5 years. And then? Then came celebrations worthy of champions.
