Trpišovský and Ševčík on the upcoming Union game

We want to win every game and that is what we think about before Union, says Petr Ševčík.

Jindřich Trpišovský, manager

On the Union team

„It is a typical Bundesliga team, and we have had some experience with those teams in the last seasons – Borussia Dortmund or Bayer Leverkusen. They managed to qualify for the European competitions from Bundesliga, which speaks for itself. They work hard, have very disciplined team. They rely on one tactical line-up they got used to. In six games this season they’ve made only minor changes to this tactical caused by injuries.”

On Slavia injury list

“Taras Kacharaba and Ivan Schranz are in full training from Monday, and they will be available for the game. Aiham Ousou should be ready too. Peter Olayinka is gaining strength after a minor surgery he underwent.”

On the possible starting line-up

“It won’t be the same as it was against Slovácko on Sunday, we will make changes. Tomáš Holeš won’t be available due to the red card, Taras Kacharaba, on the other hand, returns. I think the starting eleven will be more similar to the one that finished the match at Slovácko.”

Petr Ševčík, midfielder

On the loss in the first group stage game against Beer Sheva last year

“We did not think about it at all. It’s been a year, we played that game away, it is different. We want to win every game and that is what we think about before Union.”

On his recent injury

“Missing all those games because of an injury has been difficult. Furthermore, it’s been on the very beginning of the season. The game against Slovácko helper me when I played 90 minutes on Sunday. I will be hundred per cent ready for Thursday.”

On the UECL quality

“I expect similar games to those In the Europa League. Difficult, against strong opponents. But our goal is clear, we want to go through from the group stage in the next stage.”
