We start with good spirit, Trpišovský says

First game of UEFA Europa League is approaching and Slavia manager Jindřich Trpišovský talks about the long injury list and current form of both clubs.
“The injury list is the same as before the Slovácko game. The only positive is that Muris Mešanović has already played one game for our U21 team. We are trying his performance in game load, but it won’t be enough for the Girondins game. Some injured players will most likely join the team on Monday,” Slavia manager says.

“Vladimír Coufal works with the team, he is not 100% ready, but according to doctors he is able to play, and we leave it up to him whether he would play despite the pain,” Trpišovský added about Slavia full-back who is also part of Czech national team.

Bordeaux is considered one of the favourites of the group, could that be an advantage for Slavia, that the red-whites play the opening game home? “I am glad we start home. The opening game says a lot about our ambitions and it’s better to play with the favourites first. Bordeaux finished sixth last year, it’s top French team. But this year they started worse, they got their own problems and it could be an advantage to start against them,” Slavia coach continues.

“When you play strong team, it is important in what mood you meet them. I think we are in good spirit now despite the injuries. We lead the table and Bordeaux solves their own problems changing coach and owner. They needed to play qualification rounds and did not catch the start of French league. But when the referee blows, it does not matter anymore. It is just up to you, what will you show,” Trpišovský concluded.
