FC Barcelona - Slavia
Great Slavia performance at Camp Nou was crowned by one point for 0-0 draw.
Slavia started with Kúdela and Frydrych as centre backs, otherwise with expected line-up with Masopust in front and Olayinka and Ševčík on the wings.

Four minutes into the game it was Slavia who created opening chance of the game. Ševčík got enough space on the right side and proceeded with the ball into the box but Lenglet managed to deflect his attempt and Ter Stegen blocked the ball by his left post.

After 10 minutes Barca got into their first chance when Semedo latched onto a through pass on the right wing but Kolář made great save and kicked his cross shot out. On 22nd minute Messi tried his luck from set piece but Kolář punched his clever shot away on corner.

The Red Whites were close to opening goal after 26 minutes when Olayinka got rid of Semedo on the left side and passed the ball to Stanciu, whose effort was unfortunately deflected by Masopust over the crossbar.

On the other side Lionel Messi was probably closest to first goal at minute 34 when he moved the ball from right wing to the centre and fired it into the woodwork. Six minutes later Michal Frydrych blocked Messi’s effort in another promising opportunity.

At the end of the opening half goalkeeper Ondřej Kolář saved Slavia twice. On 42nd minute he blocked Messi’s shot from inside the box, after subsequent corner kick he performed another great save to punch away Pique’s header.

In the second half it was clearly Barca who set the pace but there was Ondřej Kolář in Slavia goal who stood against for a long time. At minute 54 Dembélé lobbed the ball to Roberto who went alone on our goalkeeper but Kolář managed to block his effort. After 58 minutes Vidal scored after a pass by Messi, but the goal was disallowed due to Argentinian’s tiny offside.

Manager Trpišovský sent Tecl instead of Traoré on the pitch and Lukáš Masopust moved to the midfield, later Hušbauer replaced Stanciu and Provod came to the pitch instead of Masopust, but it was Barcelona who created more chances. After 77 minutes Fati passed the ball into 100% chance to Messi, but Ondřej Kolář blocked his shot again.

Slavia managed to keep the clean sheet till the last minute and takes one point for 0-0 draw at Camp Nou. The Red Whites are the first team to keep the clean sheet at Barcelona in Champions league Group Stage from December 2012 when Befica played here 0-0 too.
