Lost Derby to good purpose

Slavia lost 2-6 on aggregate to Sparta in virtual Derby. Almost 1,3 million Czech crowns were raised by fans of both teams for nurses in Czech hospitals.

Virtual charity Derby consisted of 8 games in FIFA 20. Two current players of both teams competed with each other as well as two former players, two famous fans and two professional esports players. The games took part in Czech FA headquarters in Prague and were broadcasted live by Czech TV.

Slavia lost 2-6 on aggregate after 8 games, Tomáš Jablonský and Alex Král secured both points for the red and whites. Fans of both clubs bought 6,301 tickets and raised 1,291,808 Czech crowns (about 47,000 eur). All proceeds will go to nurses in Czech hospitals who have been fighting against Covid-19 recently.

Win in Boleslav. Chytil on target, Chaloupek scores his first

Slavia claimed a 3:1 victory away at Mlada Boleslav in the 7th round of the Chance Liga. Mojmir Chytil opened the scoring with his first goal of the season, the home side equalized at the start of the second half from a retaken penalty. Stepan Chaloupek struck the winner with his debut goal for Slavia, and Ivan Schranz sealed the result late on.

Captains’ headers secured the comeback against Pardubice

Slavia defeated Pardubice 3:1 in the 6th round of the Chance Liga. The visitors opened the scoring, but from then on only the Red-Whites found the net. Specifically, the captains Tomas Holes and Jan Boril with their headers, before Vasil Kusej sealed the result. All this in front of 18,297 fans.
