UECL squad confirmed

Our squad for UECL Group Stage has been confirmed with 26 names on it.

22 names from the first team will be joined by 4 young players from the B-list in the squad for UEFA Europa Conference League Group Stage squad.

Midfielders Srdjan Plavšić, Peter Olayinka and Petr Ševčík are in the squad despite being currently on the injury list. Tomáš Holeš will serve one-game ban after a red card from the UEL play-off game against Legia Warsaw.

Jakub Hromada was banned for three games after a red card resulting from an argument with the referee after the last game against Legia Warsaw. He was thus left out from the squad and will miss the Group Stage.

David Hovorka and Lukáš Provod are still on the injury list and won’t be available for the UECL this autumn. Mads Emil Madsen and Mick van Buren are not in the squad either.

Slavia defeated Bohemians in front of 18,992 spectators at Fortuna Arena and continue to lead the Chance Liga table. The Vršovice derby was decided in the first half, with goals from Tomáš Chorý and Štěpán Chaloupek (the latter deflected in by Okeke). In the second half, Lukáš Provod scored a stunning strike, while Zeman pulled one back for the visitors.

Slavia won 5–3 at Štruncovy Sady in the 15th round of the Chance Liga. Tomáš Chorý scored twice, Youssoupha Sanyang netted his first league goal, and Štěpán Chaloupek and Christos Zafeiris were also on target. The Red-Whites lead the domestic competition by two points heading into the international break.

Penalty, Early Second-Half Goal, and Defeat to Arsenal

Slavia fell 0–3 to Arsenal at Eden Arena in the 4th round of the Champions League league phase. The Premier League leaders took the lead through Saka’s converted penalty, Merino doubled the advantage in the first minute of the second half, and the same player later sealed the final score. A penalty initially awarded to Slavia was overturned by the referee after consulting VAR.
