Zafeiris gave us lead in the opening half of the first away game of the season, Provod and Chytil re-gained the lead for Slavia after the home equalizer after the break.
Slavia gained lead early in the first half. After 13 minutes Christos Zafeiris got the ball behind the box, cut inside and his deflected shot found its way behind the home goalkeeper Šípoš.

Eight minutes later Jurečka tried to go past the goalkeeper in a big chance, but Šípoš managed to steal the ball from under his feet.

Shortly after the break the home team managed to equalize. In the 53rd minute Čmelík sent a good cross from the right wing and Ondrášek headed the ball into the net from a short distance.

Lukáš Provod returned Slavia lead in the 73rd minute when he was set up by Mojmír Chytil inside of the box and fired the low shot through several home players.

Mojmír Chytil himself scored third for Slavia in the 84th minute when he changed roles with Lukáš Provod and sent his pass into the net with a clever backheel on the front post.

Chytil could double his goal contribution in the added time when he was tackled by Hora inside of the box and took the penalty himself, but Šípoš managed to block his shot to the left side of the goal.

Slavia thus won their second league game 3-1 away at České Budějovice and are one of only three teams with six points after two rounds together with Sparta and Teplice. Next game will be played at home at Fortuna Arena on Sunday, 6 August, from 3 pm against FC Zlín.
