In the 11th round of the Chance League, Slavia defeated their rivals from Letná 2:1 and increased their lead at the top of the table to six points.The 312th derby started with a lightning strike by Mojmir Chytil after 65 seconds of the game, and twenty minutes later Christos Zafeiris scored from distance. The opponent corrected the result in the second half, and two red cards were issued at the end. The match was watched by 19 308 spectators.

Slavia drew 1-1 with Ajax in Eden in the second round of the Europa League and have four points after two matches. The opponents were ahead after a penalty, Tomáš Chorý equalised in the 67th minute, the visitors played the last fifteen minutes without the suspended Baas. In the 10th round of the Chance League Slavia defeated Bohemians 4:0 in Ďolíček. Malick Diouf and Tomáš Chorý scored in the first half, while the disoriented home side scored the third goal themselves. Christos Zafeiris scored after the break, Lukáš Provod recorded two assists. Thanks to the win, the Slavia increased their lead at the top of the table to three points.

In the first match of the Europa League league phase, Slavia won 2-0 against 13-time Bulgarian champion Ludogorets Razgrad and recorded their first three points in the table. Matěj Jurásek scored the winning shot eight minutes before the end of the first half and Mojmír Chytil secured the win after the break. The next opponent will be AFC Ajax on Thursday 3rd October in Eden.

Slavia dominated the battle between first and third, beating Pilsen 3:0 in the 9th round of the Chance Liga. Jan Bořil scored as well as Tomáš Chorý and Lukáš Provod to secure the win. 18 783 fans visited the Fortuna Arena.

In the 6th round of the Chance League Slavia won 2:0 in Mladá Boleslav and moved to the top of the table. Mojmír Chytil and Malick Diouf, who scored for the fourth time this season, secured the win at Lokotrans Arena. Antonín Kinský recorded his sixth league clean sheet in his seventh game this season.
