Malick Diouf and Tomáš Chorý scored in the first half, while the disoriented home side scored the third goal themselves. Christos Zafeiris scored after the break, Lukáš Provod recorded two assists. Thanks to the win, the Slavia increased their lead at the top of the table to three points.

In the first match of the Europa League league phase, Slavia won 2-0 against 13-time Bulgarian champion Ludogorets Razgrad and recorded their first three points in the table. Matěj Jurásek scored the winning shot eight minutes before the end of the first half and Mojmír Chytil secured the win after the break.
